The Jiamini soccer team started with 14 children. Now there are already 20 children who meet five times a week. All children come from the Kiandutu slum and should be kept away from drugs and crime through regular meetings. Unfortunately, both are very common in the slum. Training takes place from Tuesday to Friday and there is usually a friendly game on Saturday. The training consists not only of a sporting part, but also of a so-called "lifeskill" part. Topics such as children's rights, drug abuse, HIV / AIDS and much more are discussed here. The aim of the soccer team is above all to motivate those children who are not currently going to school to go to school again and to keep them away from criminal influences.
