A very special gift was made possible for the children in Kenya by a private sponsor. He financed a trip to Nairobi, Kenya's capital. Although Nairobi is only 45km away, very few children have ever been there. In fact, most of the children have rarely been outside of the Kiandutu slum or Thika.
With a rented bus we went to the giraffe center near Nairobi. Due to our statutes, we do not see any possibility to finance excursions by means of donations. Therefore, we are happy together with the children that private sponsors of the Jiamini CBO make this possible.
