On January 24th, 2019 the Jiamini annual general meeting took place in Biberach. We would like to thank all participating members again. Among other things, the year 2019, the activities of the board and the report of the treasurer were presented.
The Jiamini Association now supports 25 children from Kenya. Together with the Kenyan team on site, we ensure that these children receive a healthy diet, take part in annual health checks, and attend school or complete an apprenticeship. In addition, the children are looked after in their free time. Here Jiamini offered a wide range (football, flutes, handicrafts, painting, board and card games, basketball, etc.). At the same time, homework supervision, tutoring and the so-called life skill lessons are not neglected.
As a non-profit association, you are always faced with the challenge of collecting enough financial resources to make all this possible. We are therefore pleased to inform you that our association only needed 1% of all expenses for its own administration, which in turn was due to the Membership fees are covered. 100% of all donations went directly to the children in Kenya.
We are now looking forward to 2020 and hope that you will continue to support us so that we can offer the children the chance for a good future.
